ValetApp + ValetPortal

Privacy notice

Effective October 1, 2026. This notice explains what the Parking Morocco website and mobile apps process, why they process it, and the choices available to you.

At a glance

The marketing website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or a server-side contact form. Its contact form opens your email application; it does not send or store the form contents on this website. The site is hosted by Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers receive standard connection information, such as your IP address and request details, when your browser requests the site or font files.

The mobile apps do process information to provide parking-session tracking, staff operations, accounts, history, and notifications. Therefore, it would not be accurate to say that ValetApp and ValetPortal collect no data.

Information processed by ValetApp

  • Account information: if you create an account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and authentication credentials. A display name is optional. Firebase assigns an account identifier when you sign in.
  • Parking information: a parking code and the associated guest name, phone number, vehicle description, license plate, parking spot, status, and relevant timestamps. These details are entered by the valet business in ValetPortal. A guest can look up a session with its ticket code without signing in; signing in and claiming a session links it to the guest account and parking history.
  • Notifications: if notifications are enabled, the app registers a device messaging token and language so it can deliver updates when a car is arriving or ready. Notification preferences and the chosen app language may also be stored on your device.
  • Camera: the camera is used to scan the QR code on a parking ticket. The app uses the scanned code to open the session; it does not upload camera images.

Your parking code can open the corresponding session. Keep the code or ticket QR private and share it only with the intended guest.

Information processed by ValetPortal

  • Staff account: email address, authentication credentials, account identifier, business association, and business/display name.
  • Business profile: business name and, if provided, address, phone number, website, and logo. A logo image selected by the business is uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage and displayed in the service.
  • Logo image: a business can choose an image from its photo library or take a photo, crop it, and upload the resulting logo. The app processes the selected image for this purpose; it does not continuously collect photos.
  • Parking operations: guest name and phone number, vehicle description, license plate, parking spot, ticket code, status changes, and timestamps.
  • Device and settings: a device messaging token and language for pickup-request alerts, plus app language and notification preferences.

ValetPortal and ValetApp use the same parking-session service so staff can manage a session and the guest can follow it by ticket code.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate staff and customers, create and manage parking sessions, show the correct parking status, support a guest's pickup request, provide parking history, send requested status notifications, maintain business profiles, and protect the service from misuse. The apps do not include advertising or in-app analytics features.

Service providers and sharing

The mobile apps use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google processes information as needed to provide these services and may process technical information such as device, app, and network request details. Apple Push Notification service may also be involved in delivering notifications to Apple devices.

Parking-session details are available to the valet business managing the session and are shown in ValetApp to people who have the ticket code. Business profile details and logos are used within the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Support messages are sent through your own email provider if you choose to send the draft. Once received, the support team uses the message to answer your request and address service issues.

Retention and your choices

Parking businesses use session records for day-to-day operations and may delete records where their account permissions allow. Account, business-profile, and operational data may remain in the service while needed to provide and secure it. The apps do not currently offer a self-service account deletion control.

To ask about access, correction, or deletion of account or parking information, contact support. We may need to verify your request and coordinate with the valet business that manages the parking record. Notification permissions can be changed in your device settings. You can also stop using the apps or sign out; signing out does not itself delete server records.

Children's privacy

ValetApp and ValetPortal are service tools for parking guests and valet staff, not apps directed to children. They do not ask for a user's age. Valet businesses should enter only the guest and vehicle details needed to handle a parking session. Contact support if you believe information about a child was entered in error.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when the website or apps change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published. For privacy questions or requests, use the Support page or email hello@parkingmarrakech.com.
